After my third and fourth spine surgeries, including a fusion at L4 and L5… I began consulting with Brad Highburger, LMT, RCST. I was seeking specific information about the source of my continuing pain and the actions that I could take to alleviate the discomfort… I was seeking specific information I could share with my PT. I also had to have hand surgery during the recovery from the fourth surgery on my spine…which complicated my recovery and considerably added to my anxiety and pain.
Following his advice… with his ability to pinpoint the exact areas that were triggering the pain… I was able to reduce the nonstop pain with the use of alternative natural pain relief supplements… both topical and oral. Stronger allopathic drugs were contraindicated for me and homeopathic supplements suggested by Brad markedly eased the discomfort without creating further adverse reactions. Brad helped me understand the sources of the pain and explained very clearly the healing process… which greatly reduced my anxiety.
Brad’s understanding of the human body is profound and he is capable of listening and questioning someone that helps them choose the right actions to accelerate the healing process. Having a consultation with Brad before and even after the surgery made a huge difference in my healing journey.
Post-car-crash pain & mobility treatment
After a serious car accident, I suffered with back, neck, leg pain and migraine headaches making it difficult to perform work duties. I work as an occupational therapist which can be both physically and mentally taxing. Brad reduced my headaches and improved my ROM by working with scar tissue and muscle adhesions which allowed me to return to work full time and participate in leisure activities again. I’m thankful for all his work and highly recommend him for anyone suffering with pain or mobility issues.
Brad Highberger is the most gifted healer I have ever met
With cranial sacral therapy he has been able to provide me with tremendous pain relief (for what had been unbearable ear pressure), where excellent physicians and other skilled and passionate alternative therapy practitioners could not. More recently, Brad also has made it possible for my body to adjust to and function on high doses of prednisone (reducing or eliminating such prednisone side effects as jitteriness, insomnia, and mood swings). It actually seems unbelievable to me how he can feel and know what is needed. His touch is intuitive, gentle, and sensitive, and his hands are large and strong. Brad also is inquisitive, and looks to learn further about whatever he thinks is appropriate and possibly beneficial to help his clients heal. And he always goes that extra mile. For instance, when I was going to be traveling for an extended period, he showed my husband some pressure points to use to try to help relieve my ear pressure.
And rather than treating my daughter for a particular type of chronic migraine from which she had suffered for over 24 years, he suggested that she pursue another specialized approach that he believed would provide her with the better results. She had seen top-ranked national physicians in their fields, as well as various alternative therapy practitioners, and nobody, until Brad, had figured out how to help her. In two minutes, though, he saw the problem, and then graciously referred her elsewhere. I simply cannot recommend Brad to you more highly. Whenever a friend has a difficult, unresolved health problem where Brad might be able to help, my response is always, “See Brad!”.
