If you live at a distance and are unable to travel to Stowe, I have also helped many people through phone consultations. By gaining a broader understanding of possible causes of the pain you are feeling, and then learning about options you may not have used yet to try to ease the pain, a better foundation for healing may be built. This understanding may also reduce anxiety or concerns that chronic pain often creates. By diminishing stress, stimulation of the neurological system is reduced, which may in itself reduce the overall pain level.

I intend to help you both develop a better understanding and learn more terminology related to your pain issues.  This will give you a clear opportunity to ask the most important questions and get needed results from treatments by other medical professionals.

The first 15-minute phone consultation is free and critical to the process.

Some of the questions I’ll ask:

  • Is there a diagnosis?
  • Where does the pain exist and when do you feel it most?
  • What kind of pain is it: tingly, sharp, burning, an ache, denseness or fullness sensations?
  • What kind of treatments have you tried? Did they help at all?

Based on our initial conversation, I will share any treatment options that might be appropriate.

Check-ins

Once you have tried any of my recommendations, a check-in can be very beneficial to further improve the process of healing.

The cost for check-ins is $30.00 per quarter hour. (Reminder: Your first 15 minutes of your call is free.) A credit card may be requested in advance.

It is recommended that you get a medical doctor’s opinion if you have a painful condition. The information provided by your massage therapist or bodyworker is for educational purposes and is not diagnostically prescriptive in nature.
